Jacquelene A. Jansen age 78 of Savanna, IL, formerly of Clinton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, Jan. 4, 2016 at Big Meadows Nursing Home, Savanna. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, Jan. 8th at the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton. Visitation will be held Friday 10:00 AM until the service hour at the funeral home. Following the service, cremation rites will be accorded and a private family burial to be held at Springdale Cemetery at a later date. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com

Jackie was born on March 31, 1937 in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Edwin and Grace (Thomsen) Dolan. She worked at the Sarah Harding Home, Clinton in housekeeping for many years. She enjoyed “digging in the dirt”, collecting “stuffies”, playing billiards, bowling, and cooking. She was a member of the Clinton AMVETS Auxiliary. She attended the Methodist Church.

Jackie is survived by her brother, James J. (Joni) Dolan of Clinton, IA,; two sisters, Annamarie (Michael) Sanford of Clearwater, FL and Mary Elizabeth (Richard) Lingle of Low Moor, IA; her special nieces and nephew, Derrick (Sheryl), Krista (Jimmy), Heather (Matt), Amber (Benjamin), Charlene, Denise (Patty), and Pam; six great nephews, Steven, Maxwell, Ethan, Mason, Cooper, and Josh; and four great nieces, Hannah, Sierra, Elizabeth, and Alice. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Barbara.
