Jean K. Dau, 61, of Clinton passed away, Tuedsay, October 13, 2015 at Mercy Living Center – North.

Services will be 3:00pm, Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00pm Friday at the funeral home. Jean Karen Maika was born on September 21, 1954 in Clinton, the daughter of Marian and Bernice (Bruggenwirth) Maika. She was a 1974 graduate of St. Mary’s High School. She married Jeffery Dau on September 11, 1976 in Clinton.

Jean was employed by PFC prior to being semi truck driver with her husband for 17 years. She later worked for DM Services.

Jean enjoyed crafts especially needlework, crocheting and crossstiching, travling, and spending time with her family and friends. She loved watching her favorite movie Dirty Dancing.

Jean is survived by her husband: Jeff of Clinton; her son: Eric (Lisa) Dau of Camanche, her brother: Steve Maika of Clinton, and her sister: Carol (Gary) Krogmann of Clinton; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother: James Maika.
