Michael Shawn “Moby” Allen age 44 of Clinton passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at his home. Cremation rites have been accorded. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Michael's life at a celebration of life gathering from 12:00 noon until 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Pape Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers and memorials, an education trust fund will be set up for his Grandchildren's. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.

Michael was born in Morrison, IL on May 21, 1971. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and owned and operated his own construction company, MS Allen Construction, a company he owned with his Uncle George McCoy and was just beginning to embark on a business in real estate. He loved the outdoors, spending time with friends, his “brothers” and friends of Bill W. He cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren. Michael was a chef at heart and enjoyed sharing his culinary creations with his loved ones.

Michael is survived by his loving girlfriend, Donna Peters; his mother, Kathy Kent Allen; two daughters, Taryn Schleuning of Clinton and Ashley Allen of Mesa, AZ, and two grandchildren, Kayleigh and James, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by an Aunt and Uncle, Vickie and George McCoy and grandmother, Carol Wiebenga.
