Thomas C. Ramig age 72 of Clinton, passed away Monday Oct. 26, 2015 at his home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday Oct. 30, 2015 at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday 9:30 AM until the service hour at the Pape Funeral Home. Following the service, cremation rites will be accorded, with burial at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com

Thomas was born on Jan. 22, 1943 in Clinton, the son of Arthur and Jessie (Brown) Ramig. He graduated from Clinton High School . He served in the US Army from 1963-1968. He married Diane Zaehringer on May 25, 1973 in Clinton; she died in 1999. Thomas worked for the Clinton Community School District in the maintenance department for over 30 years. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the former Odeon Club. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, camping, and the outdoors. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Thomas is survived by his two daughters, Wannette (Ron) Moore of Erie, IL and Kelly (Bruce Frye) Rogers of Minneapolis, MN; a son, Rick Ramig of Florida; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; and a sister, Bonnie (Rich) Tervelt of North Carolina He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, and two sisters.
