Lualis M. Foster, age 93, of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Mercy Living Center North. Visitation will be from 1-2 P.M. Thursday, October 29th at the Pape Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 2 P.M. with funeral services to follow. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph’s Chapel in Rock Falls, IL.

Lualis was born in Conroy, Iowa on June 7, 1922, the daughter of Arthur W. and Adele “Della”(Roerig) Wiebold. She graduated from Mt. St. Clare Academy. Lualis married Richard J. Foster on September 4, 1948 in Clinton. Richard passed away on October 4, 1992. Lualis was a service observer with Northwestern Bell for 38 years. Following her retirement, she worked as a receptionist for Dr. Joseph Monahan at Medical Associates until 1989. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Chapel in Rock Falls, IL and a active member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and an avid bridge player.

Lualis is survived by a sister, Barbara Davis of Clinton; a brother, Harold (Sharleen) Wiebold of Seal Beach, CA; a sister in law, Doris Wiebold of Des Moines, IA; a nephew Greg (Barb) Foster of Camanche and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant sister, Dora and a brother, Donald. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
