Alva B. Dann, 63, of 118 9th Ave. in Camanche died Wednesday afternoon in Jane Lamb hospital. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 Saturday in St. Marks Methodist church, with Rev. Donald Forbes officiating. Mrs. Robert Willis will be organist. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Charles Zeilman, Robert Sanders, Bev Tyler, Carl Hellweg, Lonnie Walters, and William Weber Jr. Friends may call in the Snell-Smith funeral home from noon Friday until 11 a.m. Saturday, when the body will be taken to the church

Mr. Dann was born Nov. 10, 1903, in Low Moor, the son of John and Eva Gibson Dann. He married Velma Sinkey, Aug. 19, 1931, in Morrison, Ill. He was a former employee of Alcoa in Bettendorf.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Victor (Beverly) Courts and Mrs. Lawrence (Janice) Zeilman of Camanche; one son, Kenneth of Camanche; eight granddaughters; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Snyder and Mrs. Nettie Ruhe of Davenport; four brothers, George and Merritt of Low Moor, Earl of Maquoketa and Arthur of Camanche; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and two daughters.
