Mrs. Eva M. Dann, 83, who had been at the Bird Nursing home in DeWitt for about three years, died there Wednesday morning, July 25 (1951) at 9 a.m. The body was removed to the Bragonier funeral home, Clinton, where funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock. Burial will be in Rosehill cemetery, Camanche.

Eva M. Gibson was born in Eden township, Feb. 12, 1868. She was married January 11, 1893 to J. W. Dann and her home was made in Clinton practically all her married life. Surviving are five sons, George and Merritt of Low Moor; Earl of Maquoketa; Alva and Arthur of Camanche; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Snyder and Mrs. Nettie Ruwe of Davenport; one sister, Mrs. Nettie Clement, DeWitt; three half brothers, Nealy Pelham of Independence, Jay Pelham, DeWitt, and Bruce Pelham of Atwater, Calif.

Preceding her in death were her husband and one brother.

Submitters notes: Eva Minerva Gibson was the daughter of Merritt Preston Gibson and Margaret Dawson. Her husband's full name was John William Dann.
