Elsie M. Jensen, age 82, of Clinton passed away Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, at Ridge Crest Village in Davenport. A funeral service will take place 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at Christ Episcopal Church in Clinton. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until the service hour at the church. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Elsie was born in Clinton on Dec. 22, 1931, the daughter of Earl and Marie (Sorensen) McCune. Elsie married George Jensen on Nov. 3, 1956, at Grace Episcopal Church in Clinton. George died March 6, 2004.

Elsie is survived by her daughter, Sharon (James) Deyo, Davenport; a son, Dale Jensen, Douglas, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers; and two sisters. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
