Timothy J. Driscoll, 53, of Clinton passed away Monday, Nov. 10, 2014, at University Hospitals, Iowa City. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Preston, Iowa. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at the church in Preston. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Preston. Casket bearers will be Larry Driscoll, Roy Webster, Jerry Stoddard, Boyd Rursch, Zachary Mohr and Raymond Bormann. Honorary pallbearers will be DJ Fulton, Jimmy Driscoll, Brendon Roggendorf, Amber Temple and Amy Craft. Online condolences may be left with Pape Funeral Home at www.papefh.com.

Tim was born April 28, 1961, in Clinton, the son of Jim and Pat (Dunn) Driscoll. He graduated from Preston High School in 1980. He married Melissa Selby July 7, 1984, in DeWitt. He later married Lori Ahearn Dec. 14, 1994, in Clinton. Tim worked for the Beatrice Cheese Factory in Preston for over 15 years and ADM in Clinton for over 20 years. He was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going to his boys’ sporting events, going to the casino and going for rides. His family remembers Timothy saying “I love you” every time he would leave.

Tim is survived by his wife, Lori, Clinton; three sons, Tyler Driscoll, Las Cruces, N.M., Ryan Driscoll, Iowa City, and Austin Driscoll, Clinton; his parents, Jim and Pat Driscoll, Preston; a brother, Jim (Brenda) Driscoll, Fulton, Ill.; a sister, Tammy (Paul) Gerdes, Goose Lake, Iowa; his mother-in-law, DiAnn Ahearn, Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.

Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents; and father-in-law, Dan Ahearn, who died Nov. 5, 2014.
