The Clinton Herald Tuesday October 22, 1974 p. 9 Glenn L. Peterson, 73, 257 18th Pl., died Monday night in Jane Lamb Hospital. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Snell-Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. William King of Chancy Lutheran Church officiating. Burial wll be in Clinton Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:30 p.m. today. Pallbearers will be Oakley Carlson, Jr. Werner Steege, Stanley Dierks, James Cashatt, Art Seeser and Gene Jackson. Mr. Peterson was born March 30, 1901, in Clinton, the son of John and Sena Hanson Peterson. He married Muriel Weinbeck, Dec. 3, 1926 in Clinton. He was a member of Izack Walton League. He was a partner for 19 years with Kennedy Peterson Floor Covering retiring three years ago. He also operated Peterson Meat Market on Camanche Avenue for many years. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. John (Carol Jeanne) Wilkerson, Joyce Peterson and Mrs. Michael (Sheila Marie) McGinn, all of Clinton; one son, James D. of Clinton; five grandchildren. two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Smith of Vancouver, British Columbia and Mrs. Edward (Florence) Bonersine of Vernon, British Columbia, one brother, William Holmes of Vernon. He was preceded in death by his wife and one brother.
