The Clinton Herald Wednesday April 21, 1971 p. 10 Arlo E. Ebensberger, 54, 1901 15th Ave. S., died this morning in Jane Lamb Hospital. The funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Snell-Smith funeral home with the Rev. John Nickelsen, pastor of Community Congregational Church, officiating. Burial will be in Clinton Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday. Pallbearers will be Orville Henning, Albert Nelson, John Totten, Robert Roupp, Cecil Johnson and Robert Brown. Mr. Ebensberger was born Oct. 6, 1916, in Clinton, the son of John and Emma Beil Ebensberger. He married Henrietta Weinbeck, Oct. 12, 1938, in Clinton. He was a member of the Community Contregational Church, the Moose Club and a life-member of the Amvets. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Seabees in the Navy, and was employed as a carpenter for Bossen and Totten Inc. home builders. Survivors include his widow, his mother, Mrs. Emma Ebensberger of Clinton; two sons, Arlo M., of Clinton and Donald E., of San Diego, Calif.; one grandson; four brothers, Charles, Harold, Ward and Marvin all of Clinton, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
