The Clinton Herald Thursday February 1, 1962 p. 8 Mrs. C.L. (Maude) Holleran Prentiss, 80, former Clinton resident, died Wednesday morning in Omaha, Neb. Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in the John A. Gentleman funeral home in Omaha with burial there. Maude Holleran was born May 8, 1881 in Red Cloud, Neb., the daughter of James S. and Adelia O'Connor Holleran, and came to Clinton at an early eage with her parents. She moved to Omaha in the 1920's. She was a sister of F.L. Holleran of Clinton, who died Jan. 20. Survivors include three sons, John Prentiss of Omaha, Paul Prentiss of Park Ridge, Ill., and Capt. Robert Prentiss, seving with the U.S. Army in Texas and a nephew, Paul B. Holleran of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her husband.
