The Clinton Herald Wednesday January 31, 1962 p. 10 Word has been recieved by F.H. McGrath of 2603 N. 3rd St. of the death of his cousin, John Clarence McGrath, Jan. 23 in St. Louis, Mo. Burial was in Salem, Mo. He was born in Clinton 65 years ago, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas McGrath, and at an early age moved with his parents to Salem. He had been employed by the Frisco Railway inSt. Louis for the past 50 years. Survivors indluce two sisters, Bessie of Kansas City, Mo. and Cecilia of Wahington, D.C. and a brother in Salem. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James.
