The Clinton Herald Tuesday December 12, 1939 Page 5 Bruce E. Corliss, 59, Eagle Grove, a native of Clinton, died Monday morning in a Rochester, Minn., hospital of pneumonia and other complications following an operation. Funeral services will be held in Eagle Grove Wednesday followed by burial there. Mr. Corliss was born in Clinton and was the son of Rank Corliss, deceased, who was a well known North Western railroad conductor here. He is a brother-in-law of F.L. Holleran, Clinton. Survivors include Mrs. Corliss, formerly Eva Holleran and two sons and a daughter. Members of his family were at his bedside at the time of his death. Mr. and Mrs. F.L. Holleran retruned Monday from Rochester where they had been summoned last week owing to Mr. Corliss's illness.
