Paul E. McCutcheon, 45, of Clinton, passed away, Sunday, October 19, 2014 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics – Iowa City, Iowa.

Private Memorial Services will be held. There will be no visitation. A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at Gils Ballroom on Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 6:00-9:00pm. Paul Edward McCutcheon was born on October 28, 1968 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of John “Pat” and Lynn (Anderson) McCutcheon. He was a 1988 graduate of Clinton High School. He also attended the Savannah College of Art & Design.

Paul was in the hospitality industry working in country clubs and restaurants in Clinton, New York, and Colorado.

Paul enjoyed downhill and cross country skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and traveling.

Paul is survived by his mother: Lynn (Jim) McGraw of Clinton; his brother: John (Candi) McCutcheon of Clinton; his step-mother: Teresa McCutcheon of Camanche; his step-siblings: Jodie (Jeremy) Hodge of Clinton, Melissa (Dirk) Thompson of Gilbert, Arizona, Chrissy (Steve) Nogradi of Simonton, Texas and James McGraw, Jr. of Clinton; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Paul is preceded in by his father, and his grandparents.
