The Clinton Herald Wednesday August 21, 1968 Page 8 Requiem high mass for Mrs. Frank L. (May) Holleran, 92, of 1712 N. 2nd St., will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Irenaeus church preceded by a 9:30 prayer service in the Delaney funeral home. Mrs. Holleran died Tuesday in Mercy hospital after a long illness. Friends may call at the funeral home between 2 and 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Members of St. Irenaeus parish will recite the rosary at 7:30 p.m. today in the funeral home. Pallbearers will be John W. Carlsen, David J. Delaney, Alan H. Mayer, Stanley E. Mayer, Prentice W. Shaw and Matthew Wolfe. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Calvary cemetery. May Elizabeth McDonnell was born Nov. 20, 1875 in Lyons, the daughter of Jeremiah J. and Deborah Johnston McDonnell. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Angelsacademy and the Clinton Business college. She married Frank Holleran on June 12, 1900 in St. Irenaeus church. She was a member of the Lyons Literary society and the Clinton Benevolent society. Survivors are three sons, Joseph Holleran of Greenwich, Conn., Paul B. Holleran of Clinton and C. Brent Holleran of St. Louis, Mo.; two daughters, mrs. Leo J. (Jeannette) Miltner of Davenport and Mrs. Edmund C. (Miriam) Walsh III of Indianapolis, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. E.E. (Deborah) Brandt and Miss Katherine McDonnell, both of Clinton; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1962 and two grandsons.
