The Clinton Herald Saturday December 6, 1930 p. 5 Funeral services for William F. Murdoch who died Thursday evening at Mercy hospital, were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the family home, 1720 North Second street. The Rev. J.M. Duer, D.D., of the First Presbyterian church, officiated. During the service Mrs. H.H. Hobart sand, "Sleep on Beloved" and "Lead, Kindly Light" with Mrs. W.H. Bardwell at the piano. Attending the casket were James Leslie, John E. Mooney, Roy Munch, J.M. Walters, W.B. Ebensberger and Roy Green. The Rose Croix ritual for the Masonic fraternity was conducted at the grave in Oakland cemetery. Here from out of the city to attend the funeral were: Mrs. C.L. Prentiss, Omaha, Nebr. Mrs. Bruce E. Corliss, Eagle Grove, Harold Murdoch, I.N. Conrad, Miss Nell McCarthy, Chicago, Ill. Mr. and Mrs. W.G. Pauley, Aurora, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Wunderlich, Joliet, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. William Van Kirk, Chicago, Ill., Roy Green, Moline, Ill.
