The Clinton Herald; Tuesday May 26, 1964 p. 11 Mrs. Vincent E. Crowley, 63, died at 2 a.m. today in her home on Delmar Rural Route south of Welton. She had been ill only a short time. The requiem mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Ann's Catholic Church at Welton, with the Rev. John Schmitz as celebrant. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Church cemetery at Petersville. Friends may call after 7 p.m. this Tuesday in the Harahan funeral home at DeWitt. The parish rosary will be recited threre at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Clare Ann Farrell was born Nov. 11, 1900 to John and Ann Dolan Farrell of Charlotte. She married Mr. Crowley Aug. 23, 1922 in St. Ann's Church. She had lived in the area all her life. Mrs. Crowley was active in the DeWitt American Legion Auxiliary and the DeWitt Community Hospital Auxilliary. Survivors are the husband; six sons, Patrick of Delmar, William V. of San Jose, Calif., Jerome M. of Des Moines, John R. of DeWitt, Sgt. James F. of Ft. Bragg, N.C., and Thomas C. of Houston, Tex.; 19 grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. R.J. Wachter of Omaha.
