Clinton Herald February 24, 1998 Agnita M. Craig, 85, of DeWitt, died Saturday at Westwing Place. The funeral was 11 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church, DeWitt, with the Rev. H. Robert Harnes officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery. Nelson Funeral Home, DeWitt, was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Russell Miller, Roger Weller, Jerry Kedley, Tim Peters, Paul Keitel and Matt Heilig. She was born May 8, 1912, in DeWitt, to Timothy and Mary Ellen Kearney Crowley. She married Clarence E. Craig, March 31, 1951, in DeWitt. He died in 1993. She was a 1930 graduate of St. Joseph High School and also had attended Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids. She had been employed as a bookkeeper with the Welton Elevator for 18 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and its altar and rosary society. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Cassandra (Ricahrd) Miller of DeWitt; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sin, two brothers and three sisters. Death date: Feb. 21, 1998
