The Clinton Herald Thursday July 16, 1998 p.9 The funeral Mass will be 9 a.m. Saturday at Schultz Fineral Home, Grand Mound, for Maurice "Sparky" Tague, 76, of Delmar. He died Wednesday at Genesis Medical Center East, Davenport. The Rev. Paul Tague will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where and 8 p.m. rosary will be conducted. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, with military rites accorded by the DeWitt American Legion Eugene McManus Post 238. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Eric, Thad, Vince and Bryan Hafner, Mike and Matthew Kurhl, Bill, Joel and Christopher Tague, Mike Mumm and Mum Juchs. He was born April 8, 1922, in DeWitt, to James and Flora Biggs Tague. He married Mary McDonnell, July 15, 1943, in DeWitt. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Navy. He and his wife farmed in Elwood community. He also operated a plumbing and heating business in Lost Nation., and was a general mechanic at Alcoa Aluminum, Riverdale, retiring in 1984. He was a member of the DeWitt American Legion. Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Lynn (Alvin) Kuehl, and Mrs. Jan (Rick) Hafner, both of DeWitt, Mrs. Christine (Denny) Lemon of Warsaw, Ind., and Maureen Tague of Paddock Lake, Wis.; four sons, Roy Tague of Clinton, Dave and Tim Tague, both of DeWitt. and Paul Tague of Arcadia, Calif.; 25 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Mary (Charles) Seifert of DeWitt; and two brothers,Robert Tague of Arlington, Texas, and Richard Tague of Lytle,Texas. He was preceeded in death by a infant sister and a brother. Death date: July 15, 1998.
