Patricia "Pat" E. Roushar Ohsann, 76 of Fulton, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Central Dupage Hospital -Winfield, IL.

A Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 am Monday, August 11, 2014, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. Irenaeus Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00-6:00pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. A rosary will conclude the visitation at 6:00pm. Pat was born, March 23, 1938, in Eldora, Iowa, the daughter of Lawrence and Margaret (Kearney) McNertney. She was the sister of Peg Cahill, Iowa City, IA and Larry McNertney (Launa) of Modesto, CA. She loved being Irish.

Pat graduated from Mercy College of Nursing in 1959. She earned her undergraduate degree from St. Ambrose in 1980. In 1988, she completed her MBA at St. Ambrose, Davenport, IA. She was Vice President of Nursing, employed by Mercy Hospital in Clinton, Iowa. She was a very caring person who smiled easily and laughed often. She married Dan Roushar in 1959. Dan and she had five children. Dan died in 1982. In 1991, she married Marv Ohsann; he died in 2009.

Pat currently served on the YWCA board and was honored and recognized as a 2005 YWCA Woman of the Year. She was a member at Prince of Peace and attended mass daily. She loved to play bridge, travel, play golf, entertain, share recipes and celebrate life. She loved her family especially her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Dan (Pat) Roushar their children Marissa, Mallory, Maura and Dan of Mandeville, LA, daughter Mary (Rolf) Stavig their children Allison, Haley, and Evan of Wheaton, Illinois, daughter Margaret 'Meg' (Paul) McLaughlin, their children Kate, Tom and Mary of West Des Moines, IA, daughter Molly (Doug) Dunham their children Connor, Delaney, Carson and Cale, of Santa Fe, Texas and daughter Maureen Roushar of West Des Moines, IA; step-son Tim Ohsann of New Fairfield, CT, and step-daughter Mary Victoria Ohsann of Fort Meyers, FL, and step-son the late Dr. Marvin 'Marty' Ohsann.
