Myrtle M. Andrews, 91, of Clinton, passed away, Monday, August 11, 2014 at Simpson Memorial Home – West Liberty, Iowa.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM, Friday August 15, 2014 at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting her obituary at www.snellzornig.com.
Myrtle was born on September 10, 1922 in Wrenshall, Minnesota, the daughter of Max A. and Nora Woods Jacobs. She married Robert Andrews on April 15, 1978 in Thomson, Illinois. He died August 1, 2000.
Myrtle was a 1940 graduate of Wrenshall High School in Wrenshall, Minnesota. She worked as a Nurse’s Aide and LPN at Mercy Hospital and retired after 26 years.
She enjoyed fishing, garden, knitting, and crocheting.
Myrtle is survived by 3 daughters: Barbara (Dennis) George of Wilton, IA, Marilyn (Ray) Remrey of Thomson, IL, and Susan Inman of Lanark, IL; 2 sons: Norman (Judith) Pease of Sabula, IA and Michael Pease of Kings Mountain, North Carolina; 18 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husbands she was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a great-grandson and a sister.
