Doris Darlene Sheldon passed away at Mercy South Campus on July 24, 2014 at 2:15 am. Surrounded by angels and into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Doris Darlene Sheldon daughter of Kenneth and Minnie Ham formally from Hampton Illinois. Doris Darlene Sheldon was married to Jack Dempsey Sheldon Sr. Doris spent many years working side by side with her loving husband in restaurants such as Bucks Barn in Thomson Illinois and The Saddle Club in Cordova Illinois. Doris Darlene Sheldon was a member of the Nazarene Church.

Funeral Services will be 11:00am, Monday, July 28, 2014 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be from 10:00am to the service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will take place Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Rock Springs Wyoming on Wednesday. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting her obituary at www.snellzornig.com

Doris Sheldon is survived by her loving children, Danny Sheldon (Gloria Sheldon) Clinton, Iowa, Brenda Dhamers, Davenport Iowa, Marsha Stock (Terri Hoon), Davenport Iowa, Fenessa Little (Lyn Little), Geneseo, Ill, and Jack Sheldon Jr. Davenport, Iowa. Grandchildren: Lisa Tyler, Lori Sheldon, Juston Dhamers(Tracy Dhamers), Chris Stock (Kristin Stock), Philip Stock, Nickolas Stock (Amy Stock), Sally Nylin (Robert Nylin), Joshua Little, Joseph Little (Amanda Little), Jared Little, Jacob Little, Faith Little, Jarom Little and Brittney Sheldon. Great grandchildren: Aaron Sims, Amani Tyler, Celeste Sheldon, Jayden Dhamer, Chase Dhamer Chevy Dhamer, Kathryn Stock, David Stock, Andrew Nylin, Tyler Nylin, Caleb Nylin, Rayleigh Little, and Mason Little. She also had many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceding Doris Darlene Sheldon in death were her parents,Kenneth and Minnie Ham A sister Hazel Marsh and 5 brothers: Koil Marsh, Bernard Marsh, Neal Ham Raymond Ham, Charlie Ham.
