Flo Davis, 83, of Camanche, passed away, Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Harmony House - Clinton.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00-7:00pm at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Funeral Services will be 10:30am, Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery – Camanche. Flo Arlene Smith was born on September 14, 1930 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Francis and Florence (Stewart) Smith. She married Harold Davis on March 4, 1950 in Camanche, Iowa; he died July 29, 1999.

Flo attended Camanche Schools. She was a waitress/cook at Tony’s Taco House in Camanche for over 20 years.

Flo was a member of First Baptist Church – Camanche. She enjoyed music, especially performing with the Clintones. She also put on a children’s Bible program in her home for several years.
Flo is survived by two sons: Francis “Butch” (Beverly) Davis of Camanche, Harold “Hod” (Rebecca) Davis, Jr., of Clinton 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren; two brothers, Stewart (Della-Mae) Smith of Fulton, IL and William H. Smith of Camanche, IA; and several nieces and nephews and special friends and neighbors: Nicki Sterns, and Lexie & Thomas Brantley.

Flo was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a granddaughter, a brother, and three sisters.
