David A. Dodge age 53 of Clinton passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center North. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. Sunday, August 17th at the Pape Funeral Home. Cremation rites will follow.

David was born in Clinton on July 31, 1961, the son of David L. and Janice (Krucher) Dodge. He attended Clinton High School where he was a member of the wrestling team. David had been employed at Clinton Corn Processing Company, Rose’s Wood Products and with Chuck Bousman Concrete. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, and following the Chicago Bears and Iowa Hawkeyes, especially the wrestling team. David was very mechanically inclined and was able to help his friends in many ways. He enjoyed listening to Buddy Holle and Beethoven and was quite the artist, drawing cartoons.

David is survived by two brothers; John (Becky) Hansen of DeWitt and Kelly Dodge of Clinton; his sister, Mary Ellen Dodge of Clinton and nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Dawn Melissa Dodge. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
