Deborah L. Houser age 52 of Clinton, passed away Wednesday Aug. 13, 2014 at Mercy South Medical Center in Clinton. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday 1:00 PM until the service hour at the funeral home. Following the service cremation rites will be accorded. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com

Deborah was born on Feb. 25, 1962 in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Alvin and Darlene (Anderson) Klasi. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1980. She married Reed Houser on Aug. 25, 1980 in Clinton. She worked for E.S.B. Employer Service Bureau for over 22 years. She enjoyed knitting and sewing, reading Stephen King books, and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Reed Houser of Clinton; two daughters, Rachael (Nick) Ball and Rhonda Whitfield both of Clinton; six grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Michael, Nicholas, Madison, Hailey, and Bianca; her mother, Darlene Klasi of Clinton; two sisters, Pam (Denny) Maze of Vista, CA and Ann (David) Walling of Clinton; and two brothers, Alvin Klasi of Omaha, NE and Larry (Sherri) Klasi of Davenport. She was preceded in death by her father and a nephew, Nicholas.
