Donald L. Jensen, 100, of Clinton, passed away, Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the Alverno, Clinton. Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM, Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Terry, Tim and David Jensen, Dennis Spain, Kurt Walker and Pat Banowetz. Honorary pallbearers will be Renee Spain, Leann Walker, Dea Banowetz, Deje Jensen, Yvonne Jensen and Linda Jensen.

Donald was born March 13, 1914 in Buckeye, Iowa, the son of Adolph and Mary (Nielsen) Jensen. He was educated in the Jackson and Clinton County Schools. Donald married Leona Mangold in Dubuque, Iowa on August 18, 1937.
He farmed his entire life. Donald was a member of Farm Bureau.
Survivors include his wife, Leona of Clinton; sons, Leroy (Bev) Jensen of Low Moor and Ronald (Karen) Jensen of Morrison, Illinois; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; six great great-grandchildren and his sister, Myrtle Lehmann of Alexis, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and his grandson, Tracy Jensen.
Memorials may be made to the Low Moor Lions Club, Low Moor Fire Department or the Alverno.
