David L. Boyjisky, 69, of Fulton, passed away, Friday, May 30, 2014 at Pleasant View Nursing Home – Morrison.

Funeral Services will be 10:30am, Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church – Clinton. Burial will be in the Fulton Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30am until the service time at the church. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

David Lawrence Boyjisky was born on January 8, 1945 in Clinton, the son of James and Ethel (Heck) Boyjisky. He was a 1964 graduate of Miles High School. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam from 1965-1967.

David married Anna Packard on November 16, 1968 in Rock Falls, Illinois.

David was employed at Facemakers in Savanna. He was also employed at Clinton Corn and McEleneys.

David enjoyed watching his beloved St. Louis Cardinals and bowling. He was also a Elvis fanatic and was proud to share the same birthday.

David is survived by his wife: Anna of Fulton, three daughters: Kimberly Boyjisky of Cedar Rapids, Kendra (Tony) Gothard of Mt. Carroll, Illinois, and Amber Boyjisky of Fulton, Illinois; five grandchildren, three sisters: Esther (Daryl) Smith of Erie, Mary Jane Kane of the Quad Cities, and Carol (Jerry) Blaylock of Mesa, Arizona; two brothers: Mike (Melody) Boyjisky of Davenport, and George Boyjisky of Clinton.

David was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, two brothers, and a great niece.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family.
