Sally A. Roeder Wiest age 66 of Clinton passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center North. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the Church of the Open Door. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the service time Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Sally was born in Clinton on September 23, 1947, the daughter of Harry and Mary Philomena (McGrory) Roeder. She graduated from Northeast High School, Goose Lake and received an Associate of General Studies degree from Clinton Community College. Sally worked at the Y.M.C.A. in Clinton. She was a very active member of the Church of the Open Door. She enjoyed sports, following the Chicago Cubs, Bears and Bulls.

Sally is survived by her son; Christopher Wiest of Clinton; her sister, Dianne (Richard) Duffin of Yorkville, IL; three brothers, Harry Roeder of Florence, KY, Bob (Carole) Roeder of Bryant and Jack Roeder of Cedar Rapids and many nieces and nephews.
