Arthur W. Bailey age 90 of Clinton passed away Friday, May 2, 2014 at Eagle Point Nursing Home. A private burial at Oakland Cemetery will be held. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Arthur was born in Sterling, Colorado on July 5, 1923, the son of Charles and Frances (White) Bailey. He married Lucille Leu on July 29, 1950 in Wapello, Iowa. Lucille passed away in 1997. Arthur served with the U. S. Navy in the South Pacific during W.W. II. He was a machine operator and mechanic at the Curtis Company and later was a letter carrier with the United States Postal Service in Clinton.

Arthur is survived by two sons, Mark Bailey and Raymond Bailey both of Clinton; a brother, Walter Bailey of Brush, CO and a sister, Charlene Bailey of Sacramento, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and six sisters. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
