The Clinton Herald Monday Febuary 1, 1965 Mrs. Carrie Olson, 81, of 334 16th Ave. S., died in Jane Lamb hospital this morning where she had been taken by city ambulance. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Snell-Smith funeral home. The Rev. Theodore Anderson, pastor of the Immanuel Lutheran church, will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Tuesday. Carried Olson was born Jan. 29, 1884, in Sweden, coming to Clinton when she was 16 years old. She was married in 1905 in Clinton to Adolph Olson. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran church. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Frank (Valeria) Keiser of Clinton; four sons, Raymond, Lyle, Russell and Marvin, all of Clinton; four grandsons; one brother, Arvid Olson of Minneapolis, Minn., and a brother and sister in Sweden. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Lester, and one brother, ANton of Minneapolis; and several other brothers and sisters in Sweden.
