Lynn M. Barker, 60, of Clinton, passed away, Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics – Iowa City, Iowa.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. A brief prayer will conclude the visitation. Per Lynn’s wishes her body has been cremated. Her cremains will be scattered at her favorite place in Alaska. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting her obituary at www.snellzornig.com
Lynn Marie Parsons was born on November 7, 1953 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of David and Joyce (Leslie) Parsons.
Lynn worked at Marie’s Beauty Salon in Anchorage, Alaska and also at a nurtriacn and health store in Anchorage.
Lynn enjoyed reading and playing games on her Nook. She also loved her cat.
Lynn is survived by her son: Anthony (Robyn) Barker of Anchorage, Alaska; one granddaughter: Aubrey Barker of Clinton; three great-grandchildren: Zachary, Alexander, and Kylie Barker; her mother: Joyce Parsons of Camanche, her aunt: Gervais Van Gerpen of San Diego, California, her uncle: Clyde (Nancy) Shadle of Clinton, and numerous cousins.
Lynn was preceded in death by her father, a daughter, a brother, a sister, and her grandparents.
Memorials can be made to the Clinton Humane Society.
