Dorothy C. Weber age 94 of Clinton passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Eagle Point Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, March 17, 2014 at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the service time Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church Radio Mission League. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Dorothy was born in Lyons on May 15, 1919, the daughter of August and Rosa (Krogmann) Grimm. She graduated from Lyons High School. Dorothy married William V. Weber on November 29, 1942 in Clinton. William died in 1950. She had been employed with Jewell Tea Company, Grants, Penny’s and at the Clinton National Bank, retiring in 1984. Dorothy was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and the B.P.W. and she enjoyed sports.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Richard (Marsha) Weber of Muscatine; two grandchildren, Chad (Robin) Weber of Sigourney, Iowa and Joni Weber of Camanche; four great grandchildren, Cole, Kaylee, Cain and Brandon. She was preceded in death by her parents, a stillborn granddaughter, Jamie and her brother, Willis J. Grimm. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
