Shirley Mae McMasters age 76 of Clinton, passed away Friday Feb. 21, 2014 at Mercy North Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday Feb. 25th at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday 9:30 AM until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery. Casket bearers will be John, Michael and David Griffin, Dustin Taylor, Scott Plots and Amanda Williams. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.

Shirley was born on July 20, 1937 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Wilbur and Evah (Woods) Gillim. She married Charles McMasters on July 5, 1974 in Chicago, IL. She worked as a machine operator for Westco Co. in Chicago, IL and was a homemaker. She WAS A Cub Scout Leader at Horace Mann Elementary School and enjoyed fishing, puzzles, and playing Bingo.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Charles of Clinton; two sons, Charles McMasters of Louisianna and Wendell Griffin of Arab, AL; three grandchildren, Jon, Daniel and Logan: a brother, Bill Gillim of Taylor, MI; a sister, Mary Mudge of Taylor, MI; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and a sister.
