J.A. "Lucky" Luedtke 62, of Clinton, Iowa passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at his home. Visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 17th from 4 PM - 8 PM at Hells Our Home Motorcycle Club, 110 Main Ave, Clinton. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday at the Pape Funeral Home. A potluck reception at the Hells Our Home Motorcycle Club will be held following the burial at Cottonwood Cemetery in Morrison, IL. Lucky was born May 14, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois to Stanley and Betty Luedtke. Lucky graduated from Lane Tech High School in Chicago in 1969 and honorably served his country in the Navy from 1976 - 1979. He retired from Lyondell Equistar in Clinton in 2007 after 28 years of service. Above all else, Lucky loved to ride his Harley and surround himself with those that shared that same passion.

Lucky is survived by two sons, Steven Luedtke of Clinton and Frank Hodge of Geneseo, Illinois; a daughter, Cassandra Luedtke of Clinton; special family friend, Kathy Pennock of Clinton; brothers, Paul "PT" Thomas of Clinton and Robert Luedtke of Sanford, North Carolina; 13 loving grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and the band of brothers he called family in the Hells Our Home Motorcycle Club.
