Ronald Lee Adair age 82 of Clinton, passed away Monday Feb. 10, 2014 at Mercy Living Center North in Clinton. According to his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be held at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Ronald was born on March 5, 1931 in Ft. Dodge, IA, the son of Leland and Edith (DeWitt) Adair. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1949. He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict from 1949-1953. He married Phyllis Rossi on June 15, 1957 in San Bernardino, CA. Ronald worked at Clinton Corn in the railroad traffic control department.
He was an avid sports fan.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Phyllis of Clinton; three children, Michael (Jackie) Adair of Clinton, Carol Boland of Clinton, and James (Meika) Adair of Johnston, IA; and five grandchildren, David, Daniel, Emily, Christopher, and Kiernan. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
