Debra Jo Tatelman, age 57 of Friendswood, Texas, passed away Friday, January 10, 2014, at home surrounded by loving family. Debbie was born on March 26, 1956 in Clinton, Iowa. Debbie was a long time resident of Clinton and Camanche Iowa before moving to Friendswood nearly 13-years ago. Debbie was a member of Friendswood Community Church. Debbie was an incredible mother and a loving, sweet and beautiful lady with an even more beautiful soul. Debbie was preceded in death by her birth mother, Ruth Ann Tobey and grandparents, Floyd and Mabel Tobey and Karl and Coral Nielson.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Eric Tatelman; parents, Stanley and Vickie Tobey; daughter, Jennifer Babbitt and her husband, Nathan; sons, Alec Tatelman and Kenneth Dierks and his wife, Lori; sisters, Cindy Tobey, Sherri Tobey, and Brenda Ready; brother, Dale Tobey; grandchildren, Mya and Jake Babbitt; and numerous other relatives and friends.
A memorial service for Debbie will be held on Friday, January 17, at 2:00 pm, at
Friendswood Community Church
2821 West Parkwood
Friendswood, TX 77546
The service will be held on the 3rd floor in The Foundry.
