She was united in marriage on June 29, 1947, to Louis (Jiggs) Dierks who preceded her in death in 1992. Annette and Jiggs farmed in Camanche until 1962. They moved to Clinton and worked at Farm & Fleet and Medical Associates prior to starting Dierks Steam Cleaning. They worked side by side as they had throughout their married life retiring in 1988. They took extreme pride in the quality of work they provided for their many loyal customers.
She enjoyed dancing, bowling, playing cards, bingo, going to the boat and horse races. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. In 2005, she moved to Jefferson City to be closer to her family. For the past three years she resided with Beverly and Dennis Bentch.
Annette is survived by her two daughters, Nancy Buelow and husband David of Littleton, CO and Beverly Bentch and husband Dennis of Jefferson City, MO; six grandchildren, Michael and Dennis Buelow, Carmen, Brandon, Ryan, and Lauren Bentch; and six great-grandchildren, Grant and Parker Buelow, Cora and Bryant Buelow, and Madalyn and Lillian Muse.
