Helen D. Cronk, 80, of Camanche, Iowa, passed away on Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at Harbor Crest Nursing Home, Fulton, Ill.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, at the Camanche Chapel, Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Fred Gilbert, Dan Fisher, Chuck Gilbert, John Sander, David Carber and Levi Carber. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be her brothers and great-grandchildren. Helen Delores Fisher was born Oct. 9, 1933, in Davenport, the daughter of Virgil and Katherine (Rayburn) Fisher. She was a 1952 graduate of Clinton High School. She married Harold Cronk on Dec. 31, 1979, in Morrison, Ill.; he died July 19, 1996.

Helen was employed with PFC in Camanche from 1980 until 1995. Also, she formerly owned and operated Hides Inn in Camanche.

Helen was a former member of the Women of the Moose. She was an avid Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Helen is survived by a daughter, Cindy (Daniel) Weber of Folletts, Iowa; two grandchildren, Kathy (Jay) Wilke of DeWitt, and Debbie (Kris) Dorsey of Clinton; seven great-grandchildren, Christopher, Hannah, Cameron, Grace, Adam, Audrey and Jacqueline; three brothers, Ronald (Marlyss) Fisher of Clinton, Robert William Sumpter of California and James Fisher of Camanche; one sister, Marilyn Stidham of Rock Island; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, one son, two brothers and a sister.
