Ronald T. Voss age 71 of Clinton, died Sunday Nov. 24, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center South. There will be no visitation or services, cremation rites will be accorded. A private family burial will take place at Fenton Township Cemetery in Fenton, IL at a later date. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Clinton Humane Society or a Cancer Fund of your choice. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com

Ronald was born on Oct. 28, 1942 in Morrison, IL, the son of Titus and Lorrine (Wolfe) Voss. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He married Patricia Tayek on Sept. 5, 1970 in Camanche. He worked as a supervisor for International Paper, retiring in 2001. Ron earned his private pilot’s license thru the Clinton Airport, member of the Fulton Country Club, riding motorcycles, and his cat, April.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Patricia of Clinton; a stepson, Michael (Sandra) Logan of Clinton; a granddaughter, Elyse Logan; two brothers, Dennis Voss of Clinton and Roger (Bernadette) Voss of Davenport; and a sister, Mary Ann (Roger) Jansen of Corpus Christi, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents his parents-in-laws.
