Amos Adelbert Chase
Calamus-Amos Adelbert Chase, 72, died at 4:10 a.m. today in his home here after a lingering illness during which he has been bedfast for eight weeks. The body is in Kelly's Funeral Home, Grand Mound, but it will be taken to the Chase home Thursday evening where friends may call. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Mr. Chase was born March 3, 1877 in Mendota, Ill., the son of Franklin and Mary Chase. Old friends will remember him as "Del" Chase.
