Marilyn Margaret Tieso, 80, of Clinton, IA, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2013 at Mercy Living Center North. Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Monday, July 22, at Prince of Peace Parish, Clinton. Visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30 AM until the service time at the church. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers will be her grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that memorials be directed to the Prince of Peace Church or the charity of your choice. The family thanks the staff at Mercy Living Center North for their loving care.

Marilyn was born May 6, 1933, in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Raymond and Marguerite (Stark) Collins. On June 25, 1952 Marilyn married Enrique, E.H. Tieso in Clinton. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish. Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her family, reading love stories, and taking her grandchildren camping.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughter Billie and son-in-law Eldon Giese of Fond du Lac, WI; daughter Cindy and son-in-law Lanny Dunham of Clinton; daughter Victoria of Clinton; son Joseph and daughter-in-law Nancy of Sterling, IL.; brother Bill Collins of Clinton; fourteen grandchildren: Christina (Robert) Loehr, Jessica (Scott) Commo, Kari (Andrew) Zehren, Edward (Erin) Dunham, Angela (Ryan) Mojeiko, Linsey (Jordan) Sander, Brandon Dunham, Trenton Tieso, Ian Tieso, Florencia Castro, Augustine Castro, Tony Tieso, Trevor Tieso, and Allison Tieso; and her eleven great grandchildren.
