Darlene L. Trude age 85 of Bellevue passed away Friday, July 5, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center North, Clinton. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

Darlene was born in Clinton on December 4, 1927, the daughter of Harry H. and Matilda E. (Lytle) Stauffer. She married Mike Wolfe in 1946 in Clinton. She later married Lloyd Trude in 1969 in Clinton. Lloyd passed away in 2008. Darlene had been employed with Swift and Company and Burpee Seed Company. She and her husband Lloyd farmed for over 40 years in rural Bellevue. Besides the dairy farm she also raised chickens, geese and ducks. She enjoyed crocheting and being around her dogs.

Darlene is survived by her son, Michael (Rhonda) Wolfe of Bellevue; a granddaughter, Michele (Amir) Khan of Wood Dale, IL; two great grandsons, Rafay and Zayn; three step-granddaughters, Michelle (Doug) Lee of Preston, Amanda (Jeff) Koranda of Welton and Heather (Will) Wimmer of Delmar and four step-great grandchildren, Brandon and Connor Lee and Brooke and Haley Koranda. She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Kevin in 1990, two sisters and nine brothers. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com
