Gladys T. Jensen age 94 of Clinton, died Sunday April 28, 2013 at her home. Cremation rites will be accorded. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday May 1st at the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.

Gladys was born on June 13, 1918 in McCausland, IA, the daughter of Frank and Alma (Kracht) Hagen. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1936. She married Robert Jensen on Nov. 18, 1939 in Clinton, he died in 2008. Gladys worked as a telephone operator and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Aid, Bible Study, and the Fellowship Club. She enjoyed shopping, making ceramics, and was a cat figurine collector.

Gladys is survived by her three children, James Jensen of Clinton, Linda (Terry) Arnold of Owensboro, KY, and Sandra (Larry) Tinius of Philpot, KY; three grandchildren, Brian, Stacey, and Jeff; four great grandchildren, Carly, Maren, Rachel, and Stella. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Robert, Jr., two sisters, and a brother.
