Evah L. Comstock age 55 of Clinton passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday April 16, 2013 at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Mike Coppess, Brent Foster, Alex and Layne Dean, Michael Sansom, Dave Kruecher and Chuck McMasters.

Evah was born in Chicago on February 9, 1958, the daughter of Sammy G. and Ethel (Gillim) Sansom. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1976 and attended Clinton Community College. She was in Retail Management at various businesses in Clinton. Evah was a giving woman who would see to others needs before hers. Her family was the most important people in her life, especially her grandchildren. Evah had a great sense of humor and she enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, crafting and doing home improvement projects.

Evah is survived by four daughters; Misty (Brent Foster) Stillings, Jami (Mike) Coppess, Amanda Williams and Christina Williams all of Clinton; 11 grandchildren, Alex, Brittany, Layne, Anthony, Taylor, Hailie, Brian, Brandon, Blake, Bella and Ethelyn; her father, Sammy G. Sansom of Wayne, West Virginia; her sister, Brenda (Dave Kruecher) Griffin and her brother, Michael Sansom all of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her mother, Ethel; a sister, Debbie Hass and a brother, Sammy L. Sansom. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com
