Mr. Wilfred W. "Bill" Moeller, 88, of DeWitt, Iowa, died Friday morning, April 12, 2013, at the Kahl Home in Davenport, Iowa.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Grace Lutheran Church, DeWitt, from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2013. A Service of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Church. The Reverend Ron Rafferty will officiate. The family suggests memorials to Grace Lutheran Camp or the Kahl Home, 6701 Jersey Ridge Road, Davenport, Iowa 52807.

Wilfred Walter Moeller was born May 27, 1924, Dunkerton, Iowa, the only son born to Walter and Martha (Sundermeyer) Moeller. He graduated from high school in Frederika, Iowa. On May 30, 1946, he was united in marriage to Alice Traetow in Waverly, Iowa. Bill worked in the agriculture sales field much of his life and was employed by Farm Service and Pioneer Seed. He also owned and operated the DeWitt Farm Store for many years. In retirement, Bill enjoyed mowing at Grace Lutheran Church and Camp. Bill and Alice loved wintering in Arizona where they were senior citizen volunteers ushering for Padre's and Mariner's spring training games.

He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, DeWitt and the DeWitt Noon Lions Club. Bill donated a lot of his time in the community. He enjoyed sporting events, golfing and was an avid Cubs and Hawkeye fan.

Surviving are his loving wife of nearly 67 years, Alice; children and their spouses, Julie and Mitch Krukow of DeWitt, Rick and Dianne Moeller of Springfield, Oregon, Jane and Mike Buege of Lisle, Illinois and Joel and Maureen Moeller of Coralville, Iowa; grandchildren, Cory (Rachael) Krukow, Ryan (Larissa) Krukow, Kellie (Scott) Backes, Dustin (Karla) Bengtson, Eiron Moeller, Stephen Buege, Nick Buege, Devin (Nicole) Moeller, Bryon Moeller and Andy Moeller; great-grandchildren, Carver, Hudson and Gavin Krukow, Lane, Ella, Abe and Coy Krukow, Rylan and Reid Backes, Carter and Avery Bengston and Noah, Hayden and Addison Moeller; a sister, Marilyn (Lorin) Stacey of Bradenton, Florida; sisters-in-law, Lucinda Meier and Viola Wittenburg of Waverly and Freida Traeto of Denver, Iowa; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding Bill in death were his parents; a sister, Gladys Schuldt; brothers-in-law, Forrest Droster, Edgar Traeto, Arlin Wittenburg and Alvin Meier.
