MRS. LYMAN OF DECORAH KILLED
Mother in Critical Condition After Auto Accident at WalkerCEDAR RAPIDS, (AP)-Mrs. C. S. Lyman, 45, of Decorah, was fatally injured and her mother, Mrs. William Smith, 67, is in a critical condition in a hospital here, Monday, as the result of their car striking a gravel pile and overturning three times near highway No. 11 five miles wet of Walker, Iowa, Sunday morning. Mrs. Lyman died in a local hospital Monday morning.
The car, driven by Mr. Lyman, missed a sharp curve in the highway and continued southward on a gravel road when the accident happened.
Neither Lyman nor his other two passengers, a son, William, 20, and Mr. Smith were injured.
The family was enroute to Iowa City to visit a daughter of the Lymans, Mrs. Alfrieda Carlson.
