Mrs. Emma Bennett, wife of George E. Bennett, residing at 204 North Clark Street, Chicago, died at 10 o'clock Monday night, at the hospital, after am illness of ten weeks from nervous prostration and paralysis.
Deseased was born in Lancaster, N.Y., October 1, 1869. She cam e to Lyons and lived there with her parents until a few years ago, when she moved to Chicago, and had since resided with her sister. She was married two years ago, and leaves besides her husband, her parents, who reside in this city, and four brothers and three sisters. Mr Bennett was at one time a dinning car conductor on the C. & N. W.
The remains arrived in the city last evening and were taken to the residence of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Himebrook, 1413 South Third Street, where the funeral services will be held at two o'clock Thursday afternoon, followed by interment in Springdale cemetery.Clinton Herald, Oct. 14, 1896
