MRS. WILLIAM BROWN
Mrs. William Brown of Elwood, Ill., passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital in Joliet, Ill., at 9:45 yesterday morning. She was formerly Miss Ida Himebrook of Clinton.
The body is to be brought to Clinton, arriving at 9:45 o'clock this evening and will be taken to the Theodore Himebrook home, 243 Twelfth avenue, where funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, with the rev. J. M. Duer, pastor of the First Presbyterian church officiating. Interment will be in Springdale cemetery.
The deceased was born in Dubuque, January 31, 1884, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Himebrook, who came to Lyons when she was a small girl. She was educated in the Lyons public schools and graduated from the Lyons High school.
After teaching in rural schools for four years, she moved to Chicago, where she was married to William Brown, who with three sons, Edward, aged 11; John, aged 8, and Vernon, aged 4, is left to mourn her death.
There are also a sister and four brothers, Mrs. William *Moon , of Chicago; *Charles Himebrook of Detroit, Mich.; Henry, Albert and Theodore Himebrook of Clinton. Mrs. Brown was a member of the Presbyterian Church.Clinton Herald, Feb. 4, 1926
