HASS SERVICES WILL BE MONDAY Preston June 30th: Funeral services for Mrs. Theresa Hass 67,who died yesterday afternoon in a Clinton hospital will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in St. John's Evangekical Lutheran Church here. The Rev. A.G. Langholz,pastor, will officiate. Mrs. Hass was born May 29th, 1869, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Henecke, and was married January 18th,1886, to John P. Hass. The couple lived on farms near Spragueville and Preston until they moved into Preston. Mr. John Hass died in 1924 and is buried in the Preston Cemetery. Mrs. Hass lived with her daughter, Mrs, Marie Kitchen the last two years in Calamus. Mrs. was a member of both the Lutheran church and Ladies' Aid Society. Those who survive are: two daughters: Mrs. Emma Fleming of Preston and Mrs. Marie Kitchen of Calamus,; three sons Henry Hass of Miles, Carl Herman Hass and Ed Hass of Clinton; three brothers: Herman Henecke of Preston and Peter and William Henecke of Maquoketa; two sisters Miss Lizzie Henecke of Bryant and Mrs. Anna Stamp of Preston; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She will be buried in Preston Cemetery.
